Training
The Guysborough County Inshore Fishermen’s Association coordinates and partners with other training institutions to deliver industry regulated or requested training in and around the fishing communities. Training is offered at the GCIFA training facility in Canso to reduce travel time and expenses for fishermen. Occasionally, courses are offered at a reduced rate when the GCIFA staff completes the coordination and administration work.
