The GCIFA has hired a new staff member, Melinda Cole, as a full time Biologist.

Ginny traveled to the Nova Scotia Seafood Festival held at the Cunard Centre in Halifax on June 27th and 28th. Ginny was able to take 130 pounds of the trap caught shrimp which were cooked by a chef. She was also able to hand out information to promote our local fishery.
